Remote Control cannot be install on demand on Windows 7 (my version "Professional").
I do not have a domain.
Administrative share is not enable in Windows 7 as default. see ==> http://blog.hansmelis.be/2009/09/06/administrative-shares-in-windows-7/ I do not need to start on Remote Registry, instead I turn on the administrative share and the on demand installation went through.
This is one machine but how do I deploy in a large scale of machine of Windows 7? |

If the administrative shares are not turned on, then Goverlan will not be able to transfer the agent files from your machine to the client machine. Remote installation of the Agents is then not possible.
In such situation, you need to use the provided GoverLAN Client Agents.msi installation package (this msi is located under the GoverLAN Client Agent Installer sub-directory of the installation directory of Goverlan.
Once the agents are installed, you no longer need to open the Administrative Shares (or you can use a Scope Action to open them on all of your Windows 7 clients). __________________ Pascal @ PJ Technologies, Inc.
